It has been an amazing experience to work with C-SPAN on this, as they are an incredible public affairs brand whose mission is to bring public access to the political process. New to a lot of online media and communities, their willingness to and interest in embracing technologies like Twitter and Qik, as well as link to State and National blogs is as inspiring as it is trailblazing.

Another local shout-out for New Media Strategies in Arlington VA, my day job and facilitator of the project. They have been a great resource and manager of this entire process and am grateful for the partnership.

Last thing, @kyeung... yes, good catch... the first day we still had IP redirects, but now both sites are good-to-go on the domain names:

http://c-span.org/politics/dnc08

and

http://c-span.org/politics/rnc08

Re: Local Design Firm JESS3 Delivers CSPAN Convention Coverage Design

Hi Kenneth

I am not sure why that is, it is a quote from the Techcrunch post. We've kept the format clean so that attendees can focus upon the important part: networking, meeting potential hires, kicking tires on startup executive teams, and hearing the season's startup news from the startups themselves.

We are not planning to expand our Socializer registration, and we have only 1 of these slots left. Other bloggers, PR reps, or press are welcome to contact us via email at socialmatchbox dot com for a Press pass.

All other attendees are welcome to participate as:
- Hiring Teams
- Job Seekers
- Seeking Partners

Interactive Agencies are welcome to contact us as well to have a venue-side table where startup execs can learn more about their services.
Staffing Agencies and Sales Reps are not invited.

Re: Startups: Free Law Seminar for Entrepreneurs

Hi Jared,

Hope your trip is going well ! Just wanted to let you know in case you (or your readers) were worried about a drive or missing this.

I recommend looking at any local SBDC or local Chamber of Commerce calendar as they're regularly shown there.

Thanks for always providing such great tips...just wanted to keep you in the loop!

Re: Startups: Free Law Seminar for Entrepreneurs

Hey Jimmy!

Thanks so much for mentioning my workshop on your blog. You've got some interesting things going on here. That's awesome! I'm intrigued by MyDropBin, especially since I've been considering of Amazon's S3 for a while. I think it could be very useful in my law practice.

If you can't make it to the class, perhaps we can get together sometime. FM radio will definitely have a hard time keeping up. Podcasts were one thing. Instant access to podcasts and personalized radio stations is another. The good news is that this will force satellite radio to innovate and keep their prices reasonable - or at least provide appropriate value for the price.

I also think this will a) spell either the end for Pandora of the beginning of their turnaround toward profitability, and b) mark the point where we start to see many other innovative competitors to Pandora. Can't wait... (for this and to get my iPhone...)
