East Coast Blogging: Business Cards Hit the Cloud with DubMeNow

Kenya · 1 year agoI attended the event as well and wondered the same thing about having the big launch where a significant portion of the crowd could not use their app. I have and iPhone as well. The thing that I didn't get is that there is no web interface either. When I go to their site from my iPhone it tells me that there's no app for my phone instead of just showing me the website.

ChrisHopkinson · 1 year agoThanks for your review and Dub feedback. The iPhone version will be available in December. We were hoping to have the it ready by our launch party, but unfortunately hit some development delays. One of the Dub features others don't have is our ability to synch to your mobile address book, in addition to the web and Dub app. If you Dub Chris Hopkinson, my contact info will load directly to your iPhone, BlackBerry, etc. address book. Additionally, Dub users (in January) will have ability to send LinkedIn invites along with their contact data. MyDropCard, etc. only allow you to send your LinkedIn profile. A similar Facebook feature will be coming soon. So you can send your contact data and invite person to connect via LinkedIn and/or Facebook thru your mobile in one message. We will also offer multiple profiles (business and personal) and are working on some other features will believe will make exchanging contact information even easier. Please feel free to contact me with additional suggestions. I'll let you know as soon as the iPhone is ready.
